Guest guest
Hi June! I was not trying to avoid you at all! I switched email address and I have been fwding a bunch of stuff and getting things out of the old email addy so I can disconnect it. I am DEF calling my own docotor tomorrow (not in office today) and I am going to tell him that the Sulindac that he has me on is NOT working at all! Also, I have a question.... The rheumy told me that I have enthesitis. I work at a college in the library and a nursing student works with me at night. We looked this up and it indicates infection. Don't you think that ALONE would get the doc to give me AP? How do you think that I should bring this up to him? Take care! ~ Re: rheumatic Fw: Discovery Health Connect for 12/13/2000 hey How are you doing? Ive worried about you..... Please dont stop being in touch with me even if you dont decide to see another doctor. I dont want you to feel anything more then support and empathy Our choices are always are own let me know how your doing..OK June Get more from the Web. Personally, I found the historical perspective the article offered to be interesting. And it made comments on how using the biological agents are a double-edged sword, leaving one vulnerable to other infections. This especially seemed important to me, since one person on the arthritis newsgroup I read recently passed away from pneumonia-related flu complications (a relatively young woman who had been on Enbrel when she contracted the flu, although they stopped it right away when they realized she had an infection). I personally believe it is good to hear not only info on the AP here, but also a little on other alternatives or adjunctive therapies, so we can compare them. I thought that was a good topic for the list, even if it did not directly address the AP issues, although that is just my personal opinion. Please bear in mind also that even though you may have been exposed to information, there are possibly others who are new here, who have not. Liz G. Guest guest
I've been doing yoga for a couple of year's now and it surely does help. My teacher, to whom I go twice a week, is extremely considerate and careful. When I am flared I can adapt the programme as I see fit, and often I do some poses for a far shorter time than every one else, and do them twice; or I just leave out something that hurts in the joints and do a different sort of stretch. Over 3 weeks every part is stretched and moved through its full range. I really miss it when I can't go. Guest guest
I feel the same wail Gail. I had been doing yoga for about a year before I decided to take a class at my school. The teacher that I had there was GREAT and the best part of it all was, I got college credit for it was well! ;-) I really notice a difference when I do not practice, and then start again. I am even more stiff than normal. ~ Re: rheumatic Fw: Discovery Health Connect for 12/13/2000 June,I have been on both of these NSAID's and they did nothing.
