Thanks everyone for the encouragement!!

Yes, now it seems I hear about post-surgery numbness from more and

more people. I am still a bit in the dark about recovery and growth

rate of nerves etc. Thinking of seeing a neurologist. Dr. Gross

said I should have an evaluation in 3 months from a neurologist. But

with not much understanding of this, I would like to talk to someone

sooner.

It is a setback, no doubt.. but still I feel great and I think Dr.

Gross is an artist in his field. That is why I feel so good.

Lois .. I was in the hospital from Thursday until Monday -- I had to

wait for a brace to get to me - and on the weekend there was no way

to do that. I have since " modified " the brace since it is generic

and had many pressure points -- I actually cut it down about 8 in. I

still have a difficult time fitting it in my existing shoes.

It's all a matter of time and I can work with that. I am so eager to

begin working out and doing more without the restrictions!!
