Guest guest Posted November 14, 2001 Report Share Posted November 14, 2001 Hello!! I didn't get a chance to mention, I had a drs apt yesterday and all seemed to go well. Though I did have to wait almost an 1 1/2 hrs to get in and ended up seeing the mid-wife again. (which I don't mind but I just have this strange feeling something is going on with my ob) 2wks ago, they called and told me I would be seeing the mid-wife, last apt bc my dr would be out sick for 2wks.... My next apt is in 2 wks and I am going to see the other mid-wife (I guess they all cover for each other) they want me to get to know her too since the mid-wife I know is going to be on vacation the week between Christmas and New Years. I just thought I would of started my weekly visits, I guess next time. She drew my blood to check my iron since I have been on the iron pills and it was so low before and I think she said something about RH factor. (?) not quite sure. I think we have come up with names......for a boy, Meisenhelter and for a girl, Kristian Maree Meisenhelter........we that long last name, we figured we needed to keep the first name short!! ....though I really love the name Madison, that was my first pick but Don didn't care for it as much. If it doesn't match don's or is (-) , they just give you a shot in the butt! I love the names that you picked out. They go really well with your last name. It must have been sooooo hard. As for the RH factor, it's nothing to worry about. I'm O- and my dh is B+, so all they do it give you a injection. It's not a big deal. I love the names you have picked out. I wonder what's up? I don't start weekly appts for another 2 wks either...I have an appt tomorrow, then another in 2wks and THEN the weekly ones begin, so I think that is a pretty standard schedule. I really liked ours, but only ended up seeing her once. She assisted in my sister's c-section though which was really nice considering it was 2:00 am!! Maybe it is just a timing thing on the dr.??
