RE: Adverse Drug Reactions

Following on from the discussion about drugs and drug companies.

Eleven years ago I lost my daughter and it is my belief it was caused

through the huge amounts of drugs she was given over ten months in

hospital. She was hypersensitive to many of them but would the doctors

listen to us?. She died from encephalopathy (severe brain damage).

However, after a two day inquest and four years of investigations by the

NHS Ombudsman the doctor was cleared. During that time I experienced

the cover up and lies by many in the nursing profession and also that

many of them have financial interests in the drug companies. I also

became friendly with a woman who also lost her daughter (and there are

many more who die as a result) who set up a helpline - APRIL and has

been working for twelve years towards bringing about change and is doing

a wonderful although thankless job.

I would have been taking my case to the High Courts and Courts of Human

Rights but the collapse of my health prevented me from doing that.

I was amused at the comments about the T4 conversion debate as I am only

just about getting to understand the difference between T3 T4 and now

after reading the latest posts I am feeling even more senile than ever

lol. Will I ever comprehend all of this?!

Regards

Audrey
