Guest guest
Yes, I went through 2 times. The first chemo I had was CMF, the second chemo was Taxol, carpoplatin and Herceptin. JUDY
Guest guest
Judy: You know my biggest fear was coming back to the other breast. HA HA! Well anyway if you ever have serious, serious pain anywhere go to the doctors and demand scan. I did not think it was a huge issue and niether did my doctor and I had severe pain for 4 months without a diagnosis. That is the scariest part, you have to play doctor yourself somewhat and know the other things related to the breast cancer! Also that's why these knid of sites are great. But I can change the present and look foward with high hopes. Will be starting Taxtore chemo and Hercerptin, not looking foward to all this again! Thanks, Jill At Sunday, 7 August 2005, you wrote: >Jill > >wow , how are you handling the cancer in the bones. Are you in pain? Guest guest
Jill I will keep you in my prayers, I know how much the taxol kicked my butt. You are having taxtore? Did you ever have that before? What was your original dx? What stage were you in? I am assuming you have the BRAC1 gene because you are going on the Herceptin. Is this the first time you are on Herceptin? My oncologist told me the last time I was there that there are so many new drugs out now for the breast cancer. also I just read an article I think was on this site that said they are finding the genes that are causing breast cancer. this might be the break through they need. Can you imagine finding a cure for Breast Cancer! Wow! God would really be watching over us!! Hang in there Jill, I know you have some rough days ahead of you. How many treatments are you having?
