Guest guest
Closed Medical Alert Bracelet Survey results dated 2000; http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/AFIBsupport/polls Time for a updated Poll? Go for it! HOW TO CREATE A POLL: We encourage our members to create a poll. After logging into the *Polls* section, you will see the words, " Create Poll " - just above the words, " Poll question " . Click on " Create Poll " . There you will find an " Enter question " box, where you may type your question. You may then enter five choices, and there is a box to add five more, and so on. Scroll down a little further, and click either " Vote for one choice " or " Vote for one or more choices " . Scroll down again, and click " Display results during polling " , or " Display results when poll is closed " , Scroll down again, and click " Do not display voter identity " , or " Display voter identity with each vote " ...and so on. Personally, I prefer " Display voter identity with each vote " , because a member would have the opportunity of contacting another member if they were interested in their particular vote. CLOSED POLL: By scrolling ALL the way down, you may review all the closed votes; although once a vote is closed, further voting is banned. YAHOO HELP: Just a reminder that each one of our features has a thorough *help* section provided by Yahoo. Just click the words " Polls Help " in the upper right hand corner of your page, and go from there. (snip) Ellen - Went to where I was directed, but could not find the Create Poll link. Maybe it's just too late for these tired old eyes. For Fred - Maybe there is no great value in knowing how many wear bracelets -- or how many do anything, for that matter. The main idea was to stimulate a discussion and maybe see why some go for them and others do not. For those of us on coumadin, it strikes me as something worth considering.
