Guest guest
I was taken off Coumadin at the 6 month checkup after I achieved NSR. When I have afib - I know it, and I was sure I was in NSR 100% of the time. Guest guest
I was cardioverted two weeks ago, and will stay on coumadin for 3 months, if I stay in rhythm.. then I'll go off it and back to aspirin. Unless you're in and out of afib, I'm not sure there is much reason to be on blood thinners all the time, BUT this might be only for people who know when they are in and out of afib! I know when I go in and out of afib. I would love to go off coumadin, but I've only been in nsr about 20 days. In a few months (of nsr) I'll bring it up to my cardiologist.
