Guest guest
Deidre Yes, It was sudden. I am so sorry for your loss and I had no idea Mark was that young! The best tribute we could pay to him is to find a way to make screenings happen at a much younger age. My thoughts and prayers are with you God Bless Narice
Guest guest
> My Dear Friends, > It is with great pain that I report that my wonderful husband has passed away.>>> Deidra, I am so very sorry to read about Mark's passing. I often read both yours and his emails and even recall you writing that you had gone out to a restaurant to celebrate Easter with family and friends. I know he was uncomfortable that day but it was good that you got out to enjoy the Holiday together. I can only imagine the grief you are feeling now with your loss. You were a wonderful caretaker to Mark and I know he was grateful for all your help during your two year fight with this disease. My prayers are with you now and with your family. Please accept my deepest sympathy. I am sure Mark and are together now and watching over us all. Guest guest
I am so very sorry that Mark has passed away. I understand only too well what you mean when you say it was sudden; when this disease takes the life of a loved one who otherwise may have been with us for many more wonderful years it seems as though there should always be " another " day. My deepest condolences to you and your son . Kindest Regards, Ed ('s father)

Guest guest
Deidra, Words cannot begin to express the sympathy and thoughts that go out to you and your son any more than they can express the pain and loss you feel.To say that you are in my prayers seems so inadequate but know that you are. Mark was the first person on this board to respond to my introduction last summer. He was so upbeat and encouraging,he gave me strength. Both of you have been so brave and have helped so many others through this journey,I am glad that Mark is no longer in pain and I honestly believe that he's looking down with love for all that you and your son have shared and allowed him to be at peace. I'll look forward to hearing from you again, when you are ready, and in the mean-time I will pray that God will wrap you in His arms and grant you the peace, strength and comfort that only God can give,to carry you through this difficult time. Guest guest
Deidra, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I know that and Mark really enjoyed 'chatting'. It does happen so suddenly, I know exactly what you mean. That's how it was for . I do hope that and Mark have met (and all others on the board lost to cancer). It brings tears to my eyes (while at work, not the best time for them) but makes me happy to think of them together. After the inital shock and rush to handle things, I found my daughter and I settling into a new routine. But not a day goes by even now that I don't think of a lot and most nights he's in my dreams somehow. I wish you all the best in such a terrible time. Guest guest
I am so sorry that Mark has gone. There is a suddeness to the crossing over from being alive here to no longer being here. Guest guest
Deidra, I am at a total loss for words. I was just thinking about you and Mark yesterday. Mark was such a fighter and gave this beast all he had. It's really frightening to see how many of the old timers here losing the battle. May God Bless you and give you the strength and courage that you are going to need to continue on. You are in my heart and prayers.
