Guest guest
It has been so helpful to hear from ALL of you. I was so excited to go in for the surgery and meeting with the doctor had totally knocked the wind out of my sails. It has been so helpful to hear all of the input from all of you who have had the resection and also those of you who haven't. I spoke to my regular ob/gyn yesterday who has suffered 4 miscarriages but doesn't have an MA and she really feels that I should have the surgery, no questions asked. She basically echoed the opinions here that the risk of having something go wrong with the surgery is so small and the chance of something going wrong with any future pregnancies is so large. I do find it so much more helpful, though, to actually hear from women who have had the procedure done instead of a doctor who's read about it being done (my reg. ob/gyn). As of today I'm planning on having the resection--now let's keep our fingers crossed that the doctor doesn't scare the heck out of me at the pre-op appointment! Oh, and one more crumby thing, he says it will be ideal if I lose 5- 10 lbs. before the surgery One more thing to look forward to...not! lol Diane, I think it's great your doctor isn't giving you a hard time about weight, will he call my doctor? I'm 5'6 " and weight 178. I've gone down from 204 over the past year which is super hard especially with the PCOS! I'll give you my doctor's number! Good luck to all of you who are planning on getting the surgery, those ttc, those who are currently pregnant, and the rest of you as well! Thank you so much XOXOXO Jasmine
