Guest guest
Hey Janine, Out of four children the only pregnancy that I didnt mind was my first ,hah then with my other 3 children each pregnancy got worse and worse! With Kim(shes 10) I was in and out of the hospital because of ketosis and severe kidney infections so I got to spend it least a week a month in the hospital each month and then they let me carry her and extra 3 weeks to help her gain a little weight an I gave birth with no pain meds...she was almost 8 pounds and was rather large at birth. My third child (6 now) I was so sick all the time no matter what and I swear I was so big that sitting and standing was a joke not that it matters because I went on total bed rest from the time I was four months pregnant until I delivered her a month early but again no pain meds and gullbladder surgery which followed a few days later and with my youngest Jake he was so big that I cried all the time at the end of my pregnancy because of the pain, they put me on pain meds at the very end but they were a joke! He was almost nine pounds at birth, actually 8 pounds and I believe 14 ounces! Yeah we should all start the I hate pregnancy club! Tara ===== Brightest Blessings to you and yours. __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Oh girl! I hear ya......the fat roll, the itchy butthole. It's not a fun trip mentally and emotionaly after you lose so much weight and feel absolutely fabulous and then find out your pregnant and everything seems okay, but then the fat roll starts to be a problem and your back to finding ways to hide it like when you were 250+ pounds. Then your body starts doing things it never did before like the hems, or maybe some gingivitis. When I was 9 months pregnant with my first son (that was 20 months post-op) I felt like I was 300 pounds again. I couldn't move, I wasn't comfortable, I was very depressed. I also gained 70 pounds back. Two weeks after delivery I dropped a whopping 50 pounds, my hems were gone, and I really felt like I was going back to the way I was before I got pregnant. It's temporary dear.....it's all worth it though. :-) Even though I didn't care for being pregnant; I still did it a second time. I'm 29 weeks now with baby #2. Take care, Lori~ > I'm a little frustrated!! Just here to vent! > > Now, not only am I having body image issues (the whole fat roll thing)! But > I now have my first hemorrhoid. I can't believe this! Guest guest
Oh yeah! I forgot about the clothes.....been a while since I've worn them. :-) I so want to wear my size 10 jeans again. They are so faded from me wearing the heck out of them cause I was so impressed that I could wear them. I remember I found a pair of CK's that were 28w/32L and I wore them too....aw man! Now I'm sad. :-( LOL! > I am mourning the loss of my new clothes! Although my kind husband keeps > telling me its looks like the rest of my body is still shrinking... Guest guest
I too agree that my preggo's before WLS were alot easier. I have good and bad day's only as of late more bad then good. I love to know that the baby is there inside me but she always seems to get super active when I'm in pain. I have very painfull bowl movements due to a very slowed bowl and IBS. And I still have pain when I eat certain foods. So usually when I'm in pain she decides to practice tumbling. I love her to death and I know that when she gets here I won't be allowed to be in pain in peace then either. I guess I'm partially just remembering the all the sacrifices that comes with having a newborn. With a 10 and 8 yr old you don't realize how much freedom you really have. Well I know it will all be worth it when she gets here. Good luck to all we just have to stick together. Brown edd 8/31/02 Open RNY 5/22/01 @294lbs Now 172 > I'm a little frustrated!!
