Guest guest
Pam, Thanks! I'm looking forward to finishing registering and we just found out that the bedding for the crib is in, so we'll get to pick it up! Now, if I only had a crib........ I feel pretty good. You made me laugh with the basketball analogy! I feel like I just look huge somedays! UGH! And, it's only going to get bigger! elle > Elle > > Have a great time in San . I'm feeling pretty good. Guest guest
Pam, I also meant to mention, in case you didn't know, that you can register with Babies R Us online. I started mine online and then will finish at the store for those items you kind of want to feel and see for yourself. at least it cuts down on the time you would have to spend in the store. Just and FYI......... elle > Elle > > I think the scary part is how much bigger we are going to get. Guest guest
Elle, Would you be able to purchase the furniture in the states and have family members ship it to you or something? I'm not sure if it would save you any money but I was just curious. As far as the family goes... all this time my mom and I have been talking about it I never even considered that it must be harder for you. My mom would love to be there when I go into labor so she could watch for me instead of me having to leave her with a sitter but she can't plan her vacation bc no one knows when I'll go into labor. What she's having to do is warn them up front that in November she will be taking some last minute personal time (they are very cool about this... she did it both times --except for the forewarning-- I had my ectopic pregnancies and was there in a few days) then when I go into labor she will notify work that she needs the time and book a last minute flight to AZ. And we were thinking about the fact that she might have to pay ridiculous airline prices... I never even thought about the prices for your family to fly into Mexico!! Amy 21 weeks!!! Re: Elle Pam,The furniture is our biggest dilemma! We can get furniture here, but it's twice as expensive because it has all been imported! Since most pieces come unassembled, we're going to see about getting them in the states and then checking them at the airport. I'm not sure if the airline will let us. We may have to suck it up and pay the extra. It is definately more of a hassel living out of country! It's also hard for our families. Our parents want to come down when the baby is born, but since we have no idea exactly when that may be, they are all looking at paying last minute fares, which can be extremely expensive for internatinal flights. I thought that maybe the airlines would have a policy like they do when there is a death in the family, but so far we haven't found that.elle > Elle> > I think the scary part is how much bigger we are going to get.
