Yes you can. I would try a teaspoon and see how it tastes, if it's to

strong try 1/2 a teaspoon.

You could also try adding some of the sugar free syrups that they have

in the coffee isle and perk up you water that way. They make pineapple.

lemon, lime, and lots of other yummy flavors that would add some

sweetness too.

I have the hardest time downing my required amount of water in a day,

but give me a pepsi and different story. I have found that if I flavor

my water with lemon, makes it much easier. Well, I have reached the

point of tired of cutting and squeezing lemons. I do a home daycare and

to go through all of this every time I want some water.....I am

exhausted from cutting lemons alone. LOL! Anyway, what I was wondering,

could I just use lemon juice and about how much would I use for 8 oz of

water?

Thanks for any help.

Why don't you just slice them up and keep them in a baggie in the fridge so

they're ready when you need them? Or maybe keep a pitcher of ice water with the

sliced lemons already in it chilling in the fridge so it's ready when you want

to pour a glass. I'm not sure about how much bottled lemon juice to use- IMO

it's just not the same as fresh.

I use lemon juice everyday at work (one of those plastic lemon thingies) and

I just squirt some in and mix it up until it tastes " about right " . I try to

drink at least 3 liters a day if not 4 and the lemon really works. HTH! :)

<<I use lemon juice everyday at work (one of those plastic lemon thingies)>>

,

I have a question for you that no one has been able to answer around my " usual

gang of idiots " (that's what my friends call our group, from the mad magazine

cover). I use those plastic lemon and lime (I love lime) at home but keep them

refrigerated. Do they have to be refrigerated? I thought about keeping a

couple at my desk at work, but I wasn't sure if they would be okay warm.

Thanks!!!

I think they need to be refrigerated or they will start to ferment. I'm

pretty sure it says on the tag when you first buy them " refrigerate

after opening "

<<Yes, like any other juice, they need to be in the fridge or blue hair begins

to form>>

Blue hair forms on the lemon juice or on me? I'll settle for any hair I can

grow these days!!!

Yeah Jon, I kept mine at my desk for awhile and it does need refrigeration.

Lucky for me a friend has a mini-fridge in her office and I just use that.

I also like water lemon in my water, but have gotten used to just

plain water. I have found that you get more flavor out of the lemon

if you cut it up and bag it like someone suggested and when you

squeeze one into your glass, drop the whole piece you've squeezed

into the glass. I cut my lemon into 4 sections, then cut each

section in half. I can refill my glass and resqueeze the lemon

that's down in the bottom of my glass and have plenty flavor. Maybe

if you try this, you'll find it doesn't take as much lemon as you

thought.

You can get a little more juice out of a lemon by poking it a few times

(so as not to have a lemon bomb) and then heating it up a bit in the

microwave. Good for those rare dry lemons you come across.
