Guest guest
<<What are yall's favorite frozen dinner/entree?? christi>> I don't do frozen, but I was pressed for time last night (art film at the Bala Theatre), and I took Jennie-O Turkey ham, cut a thick slice in half, threw it on 2 light english muffins, and tossed in the microwave for 1 minute and a half. Total of 4 points and was absolutely wonderful! Guest guest
Actually, the only light ones I know of in PA are made by Acme (one of our grocery chains). They are 1pt each, and they are half the price of the big name full fat brands (and actually the taste better too!). Guest guest
Shoprite makes their own and Stop and Shop just started carrying their own. Oh yeah and if you're lucky enough to have a Wegmans near you they carry their own too. I love making little pizza English muffins out of them just using a little tomato paste and part skim mozerella. Kim 151.6 1st week back at WW after 3 years! Guest guest
<<I love making little pizza English muffins>> Same here, the little mini pizzas are good, and 2 muffins makes 4 little pizzas while only using a few little points! I'm finding that when on a budget, light English muffins are quite versatile! Plop whatever you like on it and either nuke it or pop it in the oven. I stick tuna on them too with some lowfat cheddar, which is good (better in the oven than the microwave). In the morning, I've never been a breakfast person, so I nuke 2 of them and plop fruit spread on top of them. Hmmm, new diet, the Jon's English Muffin Diet!!! Nah, I'll stick with WW! Guest guest
< I'm finding that when on a budget, light English muffins are quite versatile! > There also great with Garden Burger Vegie Medleys which are only 1 point each. You can have two of these burgers on " buns " for only 4 points! Jon, you sound like me, I need to get the most bang for my points. Kim 151.6 /0/121 1st week back at WW after 3 years!
