Guest guest
Elle Thats great!! My dh was lucky enough to feel something a couple of weeks ago. He was so excited. I think it makes the pg so much more real for them. I was surprised that he was able to feel something so soon. But they seemed like really hard kicks. pam
Guest guest
Pam, Thanks! I think you're right...it does make it all the more real. I hated it when I could feel the baby and he couldn't ~ it felt like I was leaving him out of something really big. Maybe we have little Karate Kids!!! At least we know they have really strong legs! DH is always asking me " is the baby kicking, is the baby kicking? " Now, I love it that he can share it with me. How are you feeling? I think I'm getting bigger day by day! It's getting harder to bend over to pick things up, put socks or shoes on, etc. I know there was some discussion about waxing vs. shaving a while back. I think shaving is going to be difficult very soon. Has anyone found out if waxing is okay? When we were in San last week, just about everyone one thinks we are having a boy. They say I am carrying low and it is all baby. I thought for awhile it was a girl because of the heartbeat rate. It has typically been around 150-159. A friend of mine who has two little boys said their heartbeat rates were in that range, so who knows! Have you decided anything about your sister's bridal shower??? elle > Elle > > Thats great!! Guest guest
Elle I am the same way. I am all baby carrying low. But the h/b has been high at 160. Its getting very hard to put on shoes and socks. I hate bending down. The worst part is I seem to drop things all the time. Sometimes I just leave it on the floor and ask my dh to pick it up. I find that I like 1 piece outfits the best. They are the most comfortable. Do you find that? I am feeling okay. Except for some constipation. If I could get that and the heartburn to go away I would feel great. I am just going to let it lie w/my sisters friend. My mom told me she thinks her dh works weekends but that her mom does not live far from her. Plus she knows another girl invited to the shower who also has kids. If she really wanted to be there she could work it out. I think I am going to be glad when this is over. Are you noticing that most of the kicking is on your lower stomach? Sometimes if I am laying down I will feel it on the side. Pam

Guest guest
Thanks ! It has been so much fun watching him! Yesterday morning, the baby was kicking up a storm! DH had a business trip overnight last night, so yesterday morning as he was getting ready for work, I told him the baby was kicking because he or she didn't want Daddy to be gone overnight. So, DH came over and felt all the kicking going on and just talked to the baby until the kicking finally stopped. It was adorable! Almost like he calmed the baby down. Hope he has that magic touch whenever the baby has fussy days! How are you??? You are getting so close! Are you all ready? > Hi Elle. I am so happy to hear your dh felt the baby!
