Hi and thank you to everyone who responded to my questions. I really do appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions and now I have another question.

I was supposed to start rads next week but it has been cancelled because my doc wants me to have chemo first. I will have to go through 6 months of chemo. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with it?? How long before my hair falls out? What can I eat to minimize nausea?

Thanks

Sandy DeVoe

PS Has anyone heard from Carly?

Hi, I just wanted to let you all know how I'm doing and ask a couple questions while I'm at it. My surgery was on July 1st and my doctor says I'm healing very well. I am having a good bit of pain and numbness under my arm where they took the nodes but I guess that is to be expected. I start rad treatments next Wednesday and will have them 5 days a week for 6 weeks. My doctor said right after surgery I wouldn't have to have chemo but today she said I need to see the doctor about getting chemo and I'm really bummed out about that. I got the pathology report today and I have some questions about some things I seen on it.

1, What is margins? I really don't understand what they're talking about when they refer to margins. Also my doctor said she sent in some tissue to be analyzed in regards to respectors???

If anyone has any answers I sure would appreciate it.

Hugs and prayers for all,

Sandy
