Guest guest
Well look at this. My hunch was right. All I have to do now is replace the softening agent in my system from salt to potassium. Little more expensive but hey. Ignorance is not bliss. thanks, Sandy http://www.aquadoc.com/96f.htm
Guest guest
I went through the whole water quality thing when I was first diagnosed too... I was drinking filtered water - Pur water filters and Britta. Bottled water too. After reading about water on ithyroid.com, I started just drinking straight tap water - I would fill a big jug with it put it in the fridge. I don't know why but it tasted better that way. Just recently we got a new fridge with water in the door. I took the water filter part out so it's still just tap water (and ice!) and it tastes fine too. We are lucky we have great mountain lake water. Here is the link to the water stuff I was talking about: http://www.ithyroid.com/water.htm If you search google for bottled water you will probably come up with much more... Pam B. Guest guest
.... and my whole point of that last post is that once I got rid of my filters, I felt better. Pam B.
