Guest guest
<<I used 2 of my flex points. I like the idea of subtracting my points, I suppose just because it is something different.>> Okay, here's where I got stumped, so help me out. I was subtracting, and I got down to 9 points, I ate 3 turkey dogs w/ 2 points bread for dinner (total 11 points). Now, how do I mark that? Do I classify it as 9 points to wipe out the target points, then deduct 2 points from my flex (I had already included my exercise points)? It messes me up if I go to look at points used later for a particular dish if the numbers aren't right, so I'm a little confused here as to how to do that. The numbers won't always come out right to just zero the target points. Guest guest
Good Evening.... How are you all doing on the Flex Plan? I know some have not started yet but for those who have how is it going? Today was my first Flex day. My daily point count is 24. I used 2 of my flex points. I like the idea of subtracting my points, I suppose just because it is something different. Really, I still get a Winning Points kind of feeling. I love this plan anyway. Tis such a flexible plan to be tweaked for our individual needs. Have a very good Wednesday... Sharon I get my strength from Jesus... Guest guest
That's what I would do. Subtract your 9 remaining points and then subtract (or mark off) your 2 Flex points. Think of the Flex points like Reserved Checking that is only activated should you become overdrawn on your checking account. The reserve is only hit if you use all the available money in your checking account. What if you wrote a little number in the area where you write the food item for the total points and circle it so that you know that is the " actual " point value for that item? Sort of a notation? OR.. you could buy a used PDA from eBay and then use WWCalc. > -----Original Message----- > From: Jon C > Now, how do I mark > that? Guest guest
Jon, I just enter the amount of what I ate, then deduct it and let it show a negative number, then add in Flex Points to balance it back to zero. That way I can clearly see each day how many flex points I ate. For instance, here is last nights entry where I had 13 points left before dinner. Meal Food Used Deposit Points Balance 13 D 4oz. Pork 6 7 French Fries 5 2 Corn on the Cob 2 0 Bar B Que Sauce 2 -2 S Grapes 1 -3 Crackers 3 -6 Flex Points 6 0 Then I go to the little circles where the flex points track and color in the circles that I use. I hope this helps, > <<I used 2 of my flex points. Guest guest
Can someone send a copy of the new journal for Flex Points? Thanks, Winifred Jon...since you have already used your ap points the only thing left are your flex points. My first day I used 2 flex points and none yesterday...yes 9 to your base points and 2 to flex. Maybe just note on side to say what you did.
