It is similar to the steroid nasal spray I use now, and that too is very effective for nasal symptoms but I usually need an atihistamine for a tickly throat too that turns into an asthma cough so I could do with both! ...As it is proposed I go on a blood thinner, one of the side effects for a lot who use steroid nasal sprays (and unfortunately me included) is nose bleeds. They are sudden and dramatic enough without blood thinners! LOL They only begin several months into using the nasal spray as the steriod starts to thin out the inner nose membranes. In the past I used the sprays until I had my first nose bleed then held off and relied more on antihistamines alone. But thanks for the info, one I use is budesonide, so maybe Flonase is less likely to cause nosebleeds though I fear they all have that side effect if its going to be a problem, its a problem with all the steroid sprays. I have been thinking of having a vein in my nose cauterised as it always happens to be one side of my nose! LOL Thanks for the response again Good luck in your hayfever season! I'm seriously considering mo0ving to the coast where the grass pollen counts are lower in summer! Haze (47yrs in UK)

I fond Zyrtec never worked for me in the past but I see they do one with pseudoephedrinre decongestant now, so I have another question on psuedoephedrine...anyone have problems with this and Afib? I have taken Pseudoephedrine for bad colds when Ive had to go and see clients etc to dry it up and it def zips me up somewhat, seems to speed the heart up too but this was before I was diagnosed with A Fib..anyone had experience with it please? Thanks , Haze (47yrs, UK)

It does say in the PDF document for Physicians on the site link that it can cause palpitations but then so do a lot of antihistamines, and I like the fact that this dispenses hopfully with the need for asthma meds as well.
