Guest guest
Well, saw the podiatrist today about my heel pain - he concurs its' probably a bone spur. He gave me a cortisone shot and an anti-inflammatory. He said the sneakers I was using (New Balance) are a good brand and since mine were about shot I went and bought two new pair to switch off. I asked him if I needed to limit my activity and he said I didn't. I'll see how it goes the next few weeks ..... I have an appointment for 9/5 with the Orthopedic Podiatrist -- I'll keep that appt. just in case I need a 2nd opinion... Guest guest
Hi, I also have heel spurs and have had them for about 4 years now. I went to the doctor and he took an impression of my foot and made me insoles made of very hard plastic to put in my shoes. I have not had any trouble since. It is great to have no pain in my heels and I just switch out the insole if I change shoes. I agree New Balance is a great runner, it is all my family buys.
