We called Dr. Cohen's office to get the results and Dr. Cohen is on Jury Duty until Tues so we couldn't talk with him about my carnitine levels. My local doc that knows nothing about carnitine just said they were way up. In a way it's a really good thing because it's protecting my heart but in way a bad thing because why am I feeling so much worse?? I'm anxious to hear what Dr. Cohen's going to say to do now. I'm praying he calls on Tues. My immunologist called my local doc today and spoke with him. He said that he wasn't able to pinpoint the specific cytokine that is causing the immune system to mess up so we should try the atomic bomb approach. That being IGG. It will be 1 infusion a month for 6 months. If anybody knows anything about this please let me know! Thank you and have a nice weekend.
