update on my joe

Hey all , just posting a brief update on my hubby Joe,

Went for his 4th round of chemo yesterday (HALF WAY DONE!) they added

avastin to it, so far no nausea ! no vomitting!!!!!!!! at all!!!!!

Although he is verryyyyyyyy tired , sleeping as we speak, but I would much

rather have him sleeping than getting sick

He is scheduled to go to oncologist on the 28th were we are gonna ask about

if he is going to do a PET scan on Joe(never had one yet) and if after the end

of this treatment if he is DONE (crossing fingers)

Our house right now is covered in germs!!!!!!!! Our lil boy just got over

ear infections, daughter has horrible cough ( I think its settled into her

sinuses as she is complaining of headaches ) , I just got over a bought of strep

throat, and now our lil boy is coughing again.

I swear to you , I told everyone they were not allowed to be sick around

Joe, but no one listens. Heck other than the cancer he is the healthiest

amongst us , I am going to break out the Lysol tonight and go through the whole

house with it , I do NOT want him getting sick

33yrold husband Joe, was diagnosed with CC in Sept,

resection on Sept 27th 2004

found mets to the abdominal wall lining 3 lymph nodes involved

open wound from infection until Jan 2005

Ileostomy reversal Dec 7th 2004

Chemo regiment begun Jan 2005

5fu/levorican/Oxaplatin/ Avastin to be added at later date
