Guest guest
Hi, I too was diagnosed in October 2005. Strange because that is breast cancer awareness month. It was a 1.3 cm tumor. Invasive ductal carcinoma- estrogen positive. They injected me with radioactive dye for the nodes. I believe they did two surgeries while I was under to make sure the margins were clean. It is always scary when we hear the word "cancer" but there are lots of survivors and I know there will be a cure someday. We fight as aggressively as we can because we want to live life to the fullest. I do as I keep busy with work, my family, hobbies, my boyfriend, working out, etc. We think it can't happen to us; but it did. And for awhile I was trying to see what caused it. But there is no rhyme or reason. I got it. I am on Arimidex which so far no problems with side effects. Good luck and welcome to our group. This is an awsome site. I come to work and check on all the posts from the site as they are my soul sisters to see how their day is. You make it a great day!
