Saskia,

You don't ever have to be afraid to post what you are

feeling...chances are someone else is feeling the same way. I know

that often the discussions are about ttc or pg, but if there is

anything you want to talk about, please post. I promise we'll

respond. We are all here to offer support to one another...not just

in becoming pg again, but also in trying to heal from the losses

we've experienced.

Saskia,

It is good to hear from you, and I totally understand why you haven't posted

more often. I often feel alot like you do. since our ep in Dec. 2000. Me and

Heath have decided that we want to get married, and so therefore we are not ttc

and he dosen't have a job right now either, so who knows when we can try again.

I have frustrating days to, but I understand your feelings, just remember when

your feelings get to be too much, you can always type to us. ----Keri

Hi ... If I were you, I call the doctor. Sounds as though there is

something going on that's not right. I never had a problem with talking or

forming words (much to the chagrin of certain family members and friends

-) ) but I do get that extreme weakness where my arms and legs feel like

jello. Call your doctor and let us know what he or she says. Annette

hi all

I know I haven't posted for awhile, but I have still been reading. It

sometimes is hard to post when you don't know where you exactly fit

because the doctors can't tell you what you actually have. I do have

a question. Has anyone had a time when they got really weak, not

hurting just weak when its even hard to form words? This morning I

seem a little better, but I am worried that as soon as I try to do

things I may get like yesterday. I don't think its a stroke because

its all over weakness not one sided. I told my hubby is I don't feel

stronge I will call the rheumy. But I don't see him untill august. It

almost feel like I am on medicine to make you not feel pain, but I am

not taking any know. I am off prednisone because that did make me

weaker, I am one of those that can't take it. The only thing I am on

know that can make me tired is neuontin, but I am on a very small

amount compared to others that have neuropathy. I have been on this

for awhile so I don't think it from that, but who knows. I was just

wondering if any one else had that happen where talking is hard to

form words, and you body feels like jello.

Thanks everyone and i hope your day is good.

I have felt like that before. It is tiring just talking sometimes.

Although, I always seemed to feel better with my medication and lots of rest.

Have you tested your CPK lately? Don't wait til August to go to the doctor.

Call him now and go see him. You should consider going back on the

prednisone. I quit taking mine at one time and now my PM is very hard to

treat. I have never had a remission and I regret that I ever quit taking it.

I am back on it now and I will stay on it forever if I have to.

Call your doctor though and get in asap to see him.

Ooooooh girl I am so sorry to hear about the deaths in your families and

sorry too tht your hubby hasnt been acting right. Great luck to you with the

upcoming surgery and dont worry so much about working on eating right now. Take

care of yourself and let us know how youre coming along. Good job ''almost''

getting into those jeans and I think August is a perfectly reasonable goal for

getting into them completely!!

Keep in touch!!

> ne,

Oh hon, I'm so sorry. I just had a whopper of an argument with hubby on

Memorial day. Just try and wait until you are not soo mad and then try

to have a calm talk about it all. I'm made to wait when we fight

because Mike has crohn's and when he is mad his belly hurts and he

can't deal with it until he feels better. Very frustrating! Hang in

there.

I can also relate to the shoulder thing. I had surgery on my right one

3 yrs ago in April. I worked as a checker right up until the week

before. It was agony! For me the pain before the surgery was way worse

then any of the recovery pain. I hope it goes well for you.

I'm sorry to hear about the deaths in the family. I don't know what to

say about that. Just know we are here for you. I hope things settle

down and get better for you soon.

Hugs,

Gena

You poor thing! When it rains it pours, huh? We are here to vent

when you need it. I don't recall what surgery you are having, but

perhaps you could discuss strategy with the doc as to what kind of

activity you can do, and how to at least maintain your weight during

your recovery period? I'm here to listen if you need to talk!
