Guest guest
Hello fellow Surfacehippies, I am glad to report that my bilateral surgery on April 1st with Dr DeSmet went very well. Recovery started slow but is now progressing fast. I guess I was thinking that my recover not going to fast because I saw my two room mates, Brad & , moving and walking all over the place on there second day after the surgery. The day after my surgery the nurses want me to get up and try the walker and as soon as I stood up, I almost passed out. I think the the dizziness was due to the transfusion I did not recieve. Dr. DeSmet thinks I was his first patient that did not recieve a transfusion with a bilateral. Its good to be home, since I almost spent three weeks in Ghent. Michigandar Mike Bilateral, Dr. DeSmet, 4/1/03 P.S. How did the get together in Lansing turn out?
