Okay, I just posted to about how frustrated I am with my BBT

this cycle. Here is my situation. The Clomid sheet I have says

ovulation occurs between cd12 and cd16. On cd13 and cd14 I had an LH

surge, but I thought you were only supposed to get it one day. I had

cm on cd16 and cd17 (more on cd16) but I still don't have a temp

shift. My temps keep yo-yoing from 97.7 to 98.1 with temps in

between. It looks like an anovulatory cycle but I am taking Clomid.

Last month I had a temp shift on the Clomid but very little cm. Am

I doing something wrong? I am so confused. If anyone has any

comments or suggestions, please let me know.

Thanks,

Uggghhhh!! I wish I could answer this one for you, like I have said, I don't

know much about Clomid (only what I have heard here) and as you know, I was

never good at the temp charting. I really hope someone else can help you with

this......you know my fingers are crossed for you.

,

I wish I could be of more help on this. I think I got pretty good at

temping and reading charts, but I'm just not sure how Clomid effects that.

From what I've learned here about Clomid, is that it helps you produce

bigger/better eggs, but sometimes a person still may have trouble actually

ovulating and releasing an egg...which is where an HCG shot comes in to play

to trigger the release of an egg. I am by no means saying that this is what

is happening to you, but it could be a possibility if you are seeing no

clear signs of ovulation. I wish I had something better to share with, but

my knowledge isn't extensive in these areas.

Amy R. Thanks for your input. I like the sound of

bigger/better eggs. :)

Lets see...

You count the LH surge as the first day. The LH levels can say high

for a bit, but the clock starts on your first positive. You can o up

to 48 hours after that which puts you on day 15. Temp shifts can be

delayed for a few days, lets say 3, which puts a temp shift on day

18. I don't know about the cm, but you're only a day off on that

given the above scenario. Someone before asked if I was checking cm

internally and mentioned that you can spot cm a day earlier if you

check internally. Could this be the case? If so, it sorta makes

sense.

I'm stretching it here, I know. But it sounds like it could happen,

eh? If you had an LH surge, you most likely ovulated. Sometimes its

hard to spot your thermal shift until the end of the cycle - which is

no help right now.

How is your cm now? I remember tcoyf says that if you notice some

low temps that coicide with a little wet cm they are most likely

estrogen surges that push your temp down.

Hope I'm not making things worse. I should sign off. I'm such an

obsessor - I don't want you to catch it!
