Guest guest
I read the post about injection site reactions. I have been on Enbrel for about 2 years now and I have noticed that if I use ice to freeze the injection site for a few minutes before injecting that the reaction is much less severe. I have played around with trying different ways of injecting so this seems to work for me so I thought I would mention it in case it can help others. It makes the injection alot easier to take too. I am on the Minocin for 5 months now and have been able to cut down from 2 weekly injections to one a week. I was told by my doctor that once a week is sometimes as effective as twice. For the first year and a half I was not told this by my old doctor and was quite annoyed. As far as the expense goes it is cut in half which is good because Enbrel is so expensive. Guess some of the drug companies dont want us to know this so we keep taking it twice a week. Maybe this can work for others who take Enbrel so I had to write about it.
