Just found out a bit ago that one of #323's longtime members has passed away. Alberta Harvey --- she's Harvey's mother-in-law. Alberta has gone to SRD in the past -- a few years ago --don't know if any of you remember her. She was a very sweet woman -- who endeared all of us in our chapter. She'd suffered a stroke -- then kidney failure -- was on a respirator. Poor thing --- her dear friend Helen Hebert (who founded our chapter) would pick Alberta up for our meetings. She was still coming until a few weeks back. Helen has lost a very dear friend -- as has all of our chapter. Please say a prayer for Alberta and for her family. We will miss her terribly !!!! Blessings .........Randie Leader #323, Orange

Praise the Lord that we have caring people who ask for prayers for

the ones who need it. We are so thankful that he sends a messenger

to give us these needs in our sister's life. Lucille, I will say

some special prayers tonight for Pat at our Prayer services. I just

wish you could all be there. My husband has been asked to say a few

words of thanksgiving that our family has been saved from the

horrors of the hurricane. I am going to have a part in the

services too. They have asked me to sing one of my favorites

tonight ; Amazing Grace. How sweet the sound that saved a wretch

like me. Thank you Lord. I am alive and have survived breast

cancer and the hurricane. Gerry

> Hi friends,

> I am the Prayers Coordinator in the Women Ministry Group at my

church, and I just received an e-mail with the request for prayers

for a woman named Pat.

> I am sharing the fwrd with you (scroll down). I am very touched

by this case, because I am so far surviving breast cancer (3 years)

and few weeks ago I had to RUN to the neurosurgeon because according

to a first reading of a brain MRI by my neurologist, I may have had

a breast cancer spread in my brain-- but it come out in the end that

it is a benign tumor to follow for a while, before the surgery.

> So, I have been deeply blessed, or maybe using a " non believer "

point of view to respect all the points of views in our list,

incredibly lucky. I have been requested to put Pat's name in all the

prayers chains (can you put her name in the prayer list in your

church?), so I am sharing also with all of you, sisters because of

the breast cancer and some of you sisters in Christ.

>

> A prayer to the non believers of this list--there is NO

INTENTION to offend anyone with this prayer request. My Lord and

Saviour Jesus Christ said " And as you go, preach, saying, 'The

kingdom of heaven is at hand.' Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers,

raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely

give. " ( 10:6), so please don't make of this case a personal

case, because it is not, but it is a duty I am called to by my Lord

and by my Faith in Him.

> If you do not believe, it is NONE of my business, but if you are

a non believer send anyway " positive thoughts " to Pat. She needs all

what she can gets.
