I am glad to be allowed to be a member of the list.

I lost 40 lbs in l998, have been playing around with l0-l5 that I lose and gain

back again and need to stop this and just lose these pounds and stay there. I

weighed 2l0 before the weight loss, I am l85 now and l70 or even l64 is my goal

weight. I am 5 ft 8 inches, large boned and will be 62 tomorrow.

I have realized finally that I will wear l7/l8 jeans and look good in them and

will not be in the l5/l6's and be poured in them. This took a very long time.

Even with my finally losing these pounds I will be in that size. I am hypo

glycemic and I use Diet Power Software to determine nutritional values then I

calculate in weight watcher's points so my points vary daily. When I work

faithfully both of these programs and add exercise and water I lose, when I get

lazy I don't. I want to be a member of this list and also the other journal list

to keep myself in line and expect more of myself. I want to eventually join the

maintenance list and I am so glad to see the three joint lists. I look forward

to knowing all of you.

Happy birthday tomorrow, Dorothy........I am fighting the same age thing that

you are. I think its harder to lose the older you get and I know someone will

say that's just an excuse... I should have done it a long, long time ago and I

didn't. I am 63 but am only 5 ft. 3 and don't think I would be considered large

boned at all. I would be happy to weigh 150.......well maybe 149....lol I will

never be a size 10-12 but would be happy in 14's. I think I have to be

realistic about it at my age. rj.

The difference between fat and fit is " I "

What you eat between Thanksgiving and Christmas isn't nearly as important as
