Hemi-resurfacing complications

My husband had a hemi-resurfacing on his left hip on June 11th, and

is experiencing inflamation, not related to infection, causing more

pain than before the surgery. He has AVN. He's hoping to avoid

THR. Any ideas on what might be causing the inflamation, and options

other than THR? He's only 33. And he's awesome, and I hate seeing

him this depressed. Also, we live in Austin - any recommendations

for second opinions in this area? San ? Houston? Dallas-Ft.

Worth? I'll take him anywhere, to get him some relief!
