1 year update too (following 's lead)

Hi all,

First, big congrats to on her wonderful journey and great

success. I am not on the list anymore but do love to hear such great news.

Briefly, my 1 year anniversary is Friday, but I will be at Mickey's Christmas

Extravaganza, what can I say? ( : Florida does this to you!

I weighed in at 165 this morning. Down 75 pounds. I was hoping to weigh 145

on my one year anniversary, but you know what, I am happy that I am

healthy, smaller and not obsessing about my weight. It does get

harder toward the end. I had slacked off with the exercising but have

gone back to a walking program which makes me feel much better. My

DH and I walk 2 miles every morning after the kids go to school. I eat

things that aren't great choices, but this is my choice. I wouldn't change

a thing, I am so glad I decided to have this surgery with Dr. Gagner

last Christmas. Thanks to all of you who became my advisors, shoulders

to cry on, surgery buddies, etc. It really made it go by quickly and

smoothly. Happy holidays to all of you and great success in the coming

year.
