Hi sheila...it's me again() with more questions...lol...We had a

practice run to ob. accessment last night...I arrived having

contractions every 5 minuse..had been for a couple of hours...when I

arrived I was checked ..found to be at the same thing as before

1cm., and 70 % effaced....blood pressure was elevated..140/104 and a

trace of protein in urine...I have never had high blood pressure or

protein in any pregnancy...I was told to walk hospital for 1 hour

and return.did so...was rehooked up and was having stronger

contractions every 3-4 minutes and was checked and found to be 1cm

(still) and 90% effaced....was told to wait another hour on monitors

where I continued to have cx.'s every 3-4 minutes ...but they were

not all strong or all weak..they changed...no consistency ...I was

told I could either stay for the night or return home..We chose to

go home...they gave me a sleeping pill that literally knocked me on

my but...I slept until 8:30 this morning..around 10 I realized the

baby had not moved....she did not move for the first time until 1:30

this afternon...talking about frantic...I tried everything...but

since around 3 she has moved fairly well.......question: Is this

typical to be 90% effaced and no dialation...is dilation around the

corner...should I be concerned about the blood pressure and trace of

protein? I go back to Ob. on tuesday morning..if you have any

thoughts or answers please let me know...I appreciate any

help ...thanks...
