I CHANGED and was so thankful to GOD for sending me to Dr. Jude that I gave my baby's middle name after our newfound wonderful, fantastic, superb OB-Fertility Specialist. The horrible technician who did my ultrasound and also called with my HCG test results to say " Well, it looks like a bad pregnancy! " She must be completely heartless. However, I've done my own research and found out that you can't judge just by HCG levels. Mine rose a few thousand during the 2 days between tests, they just didn't double. We have another ultrasound today with the same technician. I'm terrified and haven't slept and am breaking out in hives. If all is okay, I wonder how much I've hurt the baby with my stress over the situation. I just can't believe that there are people working in the OB field who tout gloom and doom like this. Guest guest Posted May 21, 2003 Report Share Posted May 21, 2003 when I had my first ultrasound at 4 weeks, they couldnt see anything, and the ultrasound tech said well, maybe it was ectopic...not even considering I was only 4 weeks pregnant ...she said it very rudely and matter of fact, well when i went in for another one, she said, well this looks like this pregnancy is here to stay..but she said it like oh well, it is fine....and then i found out she couldnt have any more kids and was not happy about that, but it still didnt give her the right to treat others as though they dont deserve a good pregnancy..I am sorry you have to deal with people like this Robin RNY 2/27/2002 E.D.D 7/20/2003 5 precious children to light the way Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
