Has anyone ever had any troubles with mild ear aches to ear

infections? I wear two hearing aids (have since I was 5 yrs old-

now 35) and have had several of these in the past few years, to

the point of going to emergency room in the middle of one night,

several dr appts for the rest. Now that I've been gf I wonder

if this is another mystery solved? The last bad one was on the

last two days of my eating gluten for tests, then when I ate

two french fries with annatto it was a mild ear ache, to the point

where my ear was too swollen to wear my hearing aid.

Thanks

Angie

I've suffered with allergies my whole life. Shots as a child when they were

the worst. My bad times are always in May and September (I think the

addition of seasons changing is more then my system can take?). I was

diagnosed in April of 2005. I have yet to have to use my allergy medicine!!!

I used to get a similar amount of sinus infections per year and now only have one or two. But then it took them 53 years to diagnose me so I probably won't recover as well as you younger people. But I am grateful for small favors. Shirleyrandbrod55 wrote: I used to have between 2-5 sinus infections a year before being diagnosed with celiac disease and being on a gluten free diet. I used to to get them VERY frequently as a child. I would say

probably every other week at times I would have an infection and I

almost always had an earache. It got so bad that they decided to

put tubes in my ears and I had my adnoids removed. It did help for

many years. Then when I was in my early 20's I started getting them

a lot again. I haven't had an earache or infection for quite

sometime now, but I can't say that it necessarily has anything to do

with the gf thing.
