Guest guest
Yesterday was a wonderful day. BUT I woke this morning feeling nauseated. I took my time getting ready for my doctor's visit, took my meds, and ate breakfast. My appointment was at 11:00 today. I went in and had my blood work done from my port. My chemo nurse said she was going to leave the needle in so that my doctor could do IV's if needed. I was a bit nauseated. Now during all of this, there has been no vomiting. THANK YOU GOD!!! I'd just as soon be boiled in oil than to throw up. I can't stand it. Anyway... while waiting to see the doctor, I became light headed. I grabbed my friend and asked her to please get some help. I was burning up and it was cool in the room. The nurse came in and had me get up on the table. I was afraid I would fall if I stood, but was able to get up there and lay down. My oncologist came in and said that I'm one of those who will have to have fluids the day of chemo and then come back on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for fluids the week after. Okay, so that means re-arranging my life again. Don't like it, but what other choice do I have? I'm still just as weak as water. I did get a diagnosis on this thing under my arm. He said it was a bruise, not candida, but that I definately have candida under my right breast, along with thrush. I start on some meds for that tonight. It's getting so that I rattle when I walk from all of the pills I'm taking!!! LOL On a good note, I got to see my new granddaughter tonight. Savannah Cheyenne was born Tuesday night at 10:00 pm, weighing in at a whopping 5 lb 7 oz. She has beautiful black hair and big brown eyes. She is absolutely beautiful. I got to spend about an hour with her this evening. what a beautiful little angel!!! I hope everyone understands my not responsiding to each individual emails. I appreciate all of you so much. There are just so many that I don't have the strength to answer all of them. thanks for your love and prayers!
