Guest guest
I have been off and on SCD for the past year and have had great success when I am very strict. In the past 6 weeks or so, I have had a flare up and had to go back on prednisone to stop the bleeding. I have a doctor's appointment Jan. 14th, but am hoping to find a different doctor before then b/c he wants to put me on some cancer patient medicine and I have to get my blood checked like every couple of weeks. He also does not give any credit to my diet for helping me feel better. If everyone would pray for me and also let me know if you know of a doctor in the Chattanooga or Atlanta area that doesn't just use medicine, but also uses diet to heal, that would be great. Thank you very much. Chris Ulcerative Colitis 2006 SCD 2008

When you go on and off SCD, you feed the surviving bugs (which are the stronger ones) and they multiply. Thus, each time, it will be harder and harder to starve them out. Please go STRICTLY on SCD. It's not easy to find a doctor who uses diet as well. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
