Sylvia SCD – day 6 CD 1999 From: Sylvia DeWeerd Sent: January-07-09 11:38 AM To: 'BTVC-SCD ' Subject: RE: day 4 Okay, so now the next question is whether or not my yogurt maker is “good enough”. My parents gave it to me – it’s called a yogurtherm. Basically I put the milk/yogurt mix into a container which goes into an insulated container. Thoughts? Goat's milk is more delicate than cow's milk so you don't want to heat it above 85 Celsius. Kim H. husband, , CD 1999, SCD 2002 So I’m making yogurt again. Goats milk this time. Did I read correctly somewhere that you can only heat it to 85 celsius or do I bring it to simmer just like the other stuff?
