Guest guest
I was thinking of making Wiki site that would be all about SCD/GAPS ingredients and products we buy. I thought if it came from an open source angle then everyone could contribute- having someone approving the contributions. It would be all sorts of products, foods, trinkets etc. One of the main problems I grappled with was the idea if a manufacturer, company changed ingredients or the processing or if a company was bought- how would we know the items are still ok and legal? What was permitted 5 years ago might not be applicable to today. So Baden gave a great idea (from some other conversation we had) that we would have a " last date checked " feature. I also liked the idea of Marilyn from some brain tangent she threw out there about her keeping correspondence on file, saying we could have the different methods of checking legality posted as well ie: email, phone call or letter-head. I think something like this could apply to all of us doing this diet and the nuances would be addressed naturally as anyone could just look up info applicable to his/her own individual needs. Any feedback would be appreciated- It would be nice to have these discussion on list so everyone can give their two cents as I feel community input is vital to make something like this happen. Also, if anyone has tips on keeping me organized that would be awesome- as I am quite forgetful lately (getting better though) Jodi SCD 15 months Crohn's/Colitis
