Guest guest Posted January 10, 2009 Report Share Posted January 10, 2009 I am a 25 year old diagnosed with UC for over 5 years and I have been healing on the diet for over a year now. Like many on the diet, I have been actively avoiding the restaurant/bar scene for obvious reasons. But now that I am comfortable with the diet and ready to branch out, I am quite nervous of making a mistake that will set me back in the healing process. While I have grown rather used to drinking the traditional vodka and tropicana OJ, I know I cannot bring my specific OJ or grape juice with me to the bars. I'm nervous to order a simple vodka tonic knowing the bartender will unknowingly poison me with their something simple like syrupy lime juice. Any advise?
