Alice,

I think you are right. Dr. Cohen told me to not take Tylenol or aspirin, but that advil was ok. I've taken prescription NSAIDS in the past and he didn't ever say anything negative about me taking them. I would just ask if you are concerned.

Barbara,

I've taken Vioxx and it made my stomach hurt some, but other than that no side effects. I was just on it short term and when I wasn't seeing any difference in my symptoms my doc. discontinued it. Vioxx and Celebrex are suppose to better than the others as far as gastro side effects. Good luck to you.

Hi Barbara,

I'm not sure where the other list got this information

from. Dr Cohen recommends Ibuprofin and Motrin but

does not recommend Tylenol. His patients with heart

issues are given the ok to take one asprin a day. The

MDA recommends Naprosin for body pain and sometimes

migrains. As far as I know...this is what is

recommended.

Anyone else? Of course..when in question.. it's a

good idea to go to the source.

Barbara,

I have taken Vioxx and it was what Dr Cohen

recommended. I never had a problem with it.
