Guest guest Posted May 25, 2001 Report Share Posted May 25, 2001 , let me ask you this then- I am having strange cycles now, and I had some mid-cycle bleeding that lasted about 10 days. On day 8 (cd19) I had a major (large) dark clot that reminded me of when I had the ep. Since then the bleeding slowed down until all spotting stopped two days later. Do you have any idea of what might have been going on? Maybe it was just the final part of the lining shedding? I was kind of too embarrased or scared to ask this before. I'm not a doctor (but I play one on TV--just kidding), but I'd imagine that the spotting you are having is from your uterine lining. It's been a while since your ep, right? If your HCG has been at zero for some time, I doubt it is still from the ep. If I were you, I'd really be asking your doctor what that could be. I never heard of mid-cycle bleeding lasting for 10 days. Did you have ovulatory bleeding before your ep? I hope you get some answers soon. I have been having about 7-10 days of bleeding for the past two months, and I am due to start bleeding again (the real af) any day now. I doubt I could be preg now, but I am harboring a tiny shred of hope. I think I am pmsing, and I am frightened because tomorrow is the due date of my ep. Now I sound pitiful. I really am doing okay. I've quit teaching for a while to try to go to grad school. I take the GRE on Sunday. And my dh got a new job which is really exciting, except that he has to gone out of town for training. My doctor prescribed Clomid for the next cycle, so I guess I am just going to have to drive up and pay him some visits during my o time. A three hour trip isn't enough to stop me!! I am sure that is hard to go through. I wish there was something I could do to help you through it, but please know you are not alone.
