Guest guest
Okay, I know I am a big whimp, but I am suddenly getting really scared about having the HSG on Friday at 1:00. I am sure that it will be fine, but I found myself looking at stuff about it on the internet. That was good because I discovered that people with Mitral- Valve Prolapse should take an antiobiotic before hand, so I called the nurse and she said I did need to take an antibiotic. The thing is I am scared of the cramping, pain, and bleeding that occurs afterwards. I'm having the procedure down the street at the Hospital, and I am sure I will be able to drive myself home, right? I am just afraid that I will need a little extra relaxing or something. My whole family will be out of town, mom and dad, dh, friends, even dh's mom, and I am the type of person who needs there hand held before things like this (oh, and air plane rides too!). I'm also wondering about the benefit of the test. I mean, my ep was on my ovary, so how will this help? I remember my old gyn told me that I had a tilted uterus, does that matter? I wonder if the test will show that. I don't have to wait for the results to start ttc, right? I mean it is good to know, but I didn't have any tubal problems. How long does it take to get the results anyway? I am sorry about the novel, I am just alone and frightened. Many of you have made it sound beneficial and not too terribly painful, and I want to thank you for that.
