Hi Shonda,I'm not sure about just soaking and freezing but you can prepare them to the stage that you would put them in a soup (or whatever) and then freeze. You soak them overnight in the fridge.Drain and rinse with cool water.Put them in a pot, cover with water and bring to a boil. They'll start to foam. Drain and rinse again. Put them back in the pot, cover with fresh water and boil for about 30 minutes. Drain again. Then portion them out and freeze.Take care, Kim H.husband, , CD1999, SCD 2002To: BTVC-SCD Sent: Friday, January 9, 2009 2:42:43 PMSubject: Freezing pre-soaked beans?

Can we do this? Do they freeze ok? I am trying to figure all I can

freeze and keep stocked ahead of time to make meal planning easier.

Thanks!

Shonda
