Subject: Re: Wealth of information

The first site you mentioned is put out by the HERS foundation who

have an agenda against UAE.

What is their agenda, besides informing people about the possible problems?

I'm relatively new to this list, but what they describe on their site as

problems and uncertainties have been described here by people who have gone

through UAE, as well as other news stories talking about it. I have read, also,

that some in the medical community is concerned about the level of radiation

exposure, particularly for more complex situations. I'm very cynical about the

medical researchers who are so quick to put into place treatments before

thorough investigation and trials. I hate to think that women are being used as

guinea pigs. A recent revelation of the benefits vs risk of long term HRT for

post menopausal women is a good example of the medical community jumping on the

bandwagon before good long term studies were conducted.

There is so much information out on the web, or even in books-it's difficult to

discern who to listen to.

about fibroids and treatments. I came across this site-for those of

you considering UAE.
