Beth,

Congratulations on getting through surgery and the hard early days of

post recovery! Isn't it great to have the surgery *behind* you? :-)

To answer your question: My surgery was 7 days ago.. I got enough

concentration to read a bit starting yesterday, so I guess lack of

concentration is pretty normal. I haven't been outside yet - I meant

to go outside yesterday or today but I made a mistake yesterday which

has set me back a bit... the phone rang 2 rooms away from where I was

and I *ran* to get it - incredibly thoughtless of me, and I've had a

return in abdominal pain as a result, so today I am back in bed.

Sigh. I expect to go outside tomorrow unless other issues pop up, but

my doctor said, " Listen to your body " about the amount/types of

activity to do.

I think the reason you should call (and you *should* call your doctor

to discuss!)if you are having dizziness is they are worried about

blood loss, anemia, or side-effects of the medications. I've called

my dr. twice with questions - their job wasn't done when I rolled out

the hospital door:-) Give your doctor a buzz, you will feel better

if you do.

Take good care of yourself! Continued healing to you - I hope your

energy comes back soooooooooon!!!!
