Guest guest
I think Diet Rite is the only soda that has no sodium. It's awfully hard to find around here. I have found that Polar makes Diet Birch Beer with no caffeine or sodium... If you like birch beer and can find it, it is really quite good. Guest guest
Hi group! I get the Diet Rite soda at my local Wal-Mart, here in Casper, Wyoming. Now...if we have it here in Wyoming, y'all must have it everywhere else. Kelli ~~ " Whoever said you can't buy happiness forgot about puppies. Guest guest
I've been noticing that several of the Walmarts around my area have started carrying the diet rite. There is also a new flavor I think (Orange box) which I have not tried Paola --- wylongears@... wrote: > Hi group! > > I get the Diet Rite soda at my local Wal-Mart, here in Casper, > Wyoming. Guest guest
Thanks for the link, Alana. I’d forgotten about Zevia; I’ve tried it and liked it. My husband used to have a DP for breakfast! I used to drink it a lot, but quit. I was thinking of getting some Zip Fizz but something is holding me back, maybe the amount of caffeine. It is made with xylitol now. I’ll look for some Zevia. I used to be a huge Diet Pepsi drinker, especially when they came out with the Lemon, Lime and Vanilla flavors. Now, I can't stand the taste of them at all! I would rather drink a regular soda but I never do. I prefer water and occassionally iced tea (especially rooibos tea). But occassionally I do want something bubbly. I sometimes will mix juice with perrier or calistoga or other mineral water. But I recently stumbled onto Zevia, a natural soda sweetened with Stevia. Stevia seems to be somewhat controversial, so do your own research and come to your own conclusions. But here is an article reviewing Zevia. As the article states, no sodas should be consumed in mass quantities. But for an occassional soda, this seems to be one of the healthiest out there. Plus I really like the flavor of them and I have just about gotten my son off of Mountain Dew and Sprite with these. The Dr Zevia, similar to Dr. Pepper, the Ginger Root Beer, and Cola ones are my favorite. They also have no food colors in them which I really like, the are all clear sodas. http://www.bevreview.com/2010/03/14/zevia/ Alana > > > > I have some pretty strong feeling about diet soda, and it's not from the > > diet point of view but from a health point of view.
