Guest guest
Angie, My CD child is also 2 and he reacts almost immediately (within 30 min) if it's something big...like getting a hold of his brother's cereal. I'm not sure if cross-contamination would be any different. My son becomes very agitated and inconsolable when he's been glutened. HTH. God Bless. Guest guest
I was diagnosed around 2 yrs also. When I was younger, I reacted within 2 hrs of ingesting gluten. Now, 25yrs old, it takes about 5 hrs before I react. But learning how long it takes your son to react definitely helps backtrack to what caused it. Everyone reacts differently and at different times. > > > > Hi everyone. Guest guest
Do you get a fever with a reaction, ever? And does the reaction last a day or a few days? thanks to you all. I'm trying to determine if it's a virus or some gluten, and if gluten, where it came from, etc... I know you understand... Sounds like it's different for everyone but maybe with little kids the reaction is faster, and that helps a lot. I'm feeding my baby (Will's younger brother) oat cereal now, and the flakes may have gotten into the fruit bowl. But Will also had a fever last night so I'm thinking a virus might be the culprit. > > > > > > Hi everyone. Guest guest
I react within 1/2 hour *most* times I get contaminated (just long enough to finish the meal and maybe get to the car, not long enough to get home without a potty stop), but there have been times when I find out I've been contaminated and I don't react at all or until 12+ hours later. julie -- Support Multiple Sclerosis Research and Services Support the MS Walk: http://tinyurl.com/a8z3x Join Team Wench for An Arabian Night at the 3rd Annual MS Fantasy Ball: http://msfantasyball.com
