Guest guest Posted May 30, 2003 Report Share Posted May 30, 2003 Dear , I have not written to you when you first posted about the terrible loss of your beloved Cassie----I don't have the words to comfort you upon the loss of a child. Words fail in the face of such a loss. But I know that you have great faith, and that you will bring good from all of this suffering. My sister-in-law lost her eldest son to melanoma, and my husband's cousin, the dear Effie, lost both of her sons, and her only children, when they were in their 20's. One in a plane crash, the other in a car accident. They have dealt with this in quite different ways, because, I guess, they are very different people. They both have great faith in the afterlife, and believe that they will be with their loved ones once more. I know that you have the good thoughts and prayers of our listmates, and I add mine.
