He went throught the traditional treatments but I just found out today that the cancer is back and he doesn't have long to live - maybe 2 months. I hear that he's going to try alternative treatment of some kind in Reno. Back in June we had some great discussions about Essiac Tea. I printed out and saved some postings from Ethel thinking that maybe someday they'd come in handy. Well, I think that day has come. I'm going to give them to Tom. I'd also like to fill him in about Ethel but I don't know much about her...only what I read on rheumatic.org home page and the good advise she gives all of us. Can any of you - including you Ethel, if you read this - give me some info on how she gained all this knowledge, about the speaking she does, the connections with the AP doctors, etc. Ethel has such tremendous credibility with all of us but I need to be able to talk intelligently to Tom should he ask, " Who's Ethel? " Any help you can give me will be great. I think he's going to leave sometime next week for the Reno treatment and will be gone a month . I'd like to give this to him asap.
