hahaha Mona you made me laugh! LOL

Steve:

The additional laws *that you favor* give big business more

leverage within the government and thus over the " little guy. " Since

the government is run by people (on either side of the aisle) who

benefit from the prosperity of big business, the laws they make do

indeed favor big business, no matter how you slice it. Of course

they must make lies and propaganda about such laws to fool the people

(like you) into thinking it benefits them and casting their votes

(notice how few of the people actually do so, but enough do). But

that is the fact behind those laws - they aren't there for your

benefit - the government itself no longer exists for your benefit, if

it ever actually did.

Any schoolboy Can understand this, except the liberal (or

otherwise) dreamer, schoolboy or otherwise, who refuses to accept

reality and accepts naivete as a way of life, and resigns himself to

being another man's (or group's) pawn. This happens all the more

easily when the school where he is " educated " (indoctrinated is a

more appropriate word for it) is run by the exact people ( " the man " )

who run that government, then it becomes extremely difficult (but not

impossible) for the " educated " to tell truth from propaganda.

" She and her late husband had regarded it as the chief aim of

education to bring up young people as Citizens--that is to say, as

individuals with an inherent mistrust of authority. " -Solzhenitsyn

Any " better laws " could only be better laws for your supposed

adversary (big business, by your own words). Hell, if you can't beat

them join them; I don't doubt you are capable of such evil (ignorance

and naivete and self-deceit also apply, if any of those are less

stinging), Steve. Better yet, you could quit being their pawn and

quit openly supporting big business while saying you hate it and

living by such an absurd double standard.

To put it most simply, the government is a tool of " the man. " It

is not your tool, and to proclaim that it is your tool in spite of

fact takes away your credibility, in fact makes many of the things

you say incredible. And I am constantly astounded by your faith in

and dedication to " the man " who's actions you say you despise. You

labeled yourself cynical and you don't even know what it is.

I have wasted more time on you than I am happy with myself for.

Since you have proven to me that you lack credibility, you need not

respond; I will not read it, as I have placed you on the hopeless

list (killfile, at that). That is disappointing to me, as you seem

to be full of knowledge, yet I refuse to accept whatever you could

offer due to the BS that must accompany it - just as I won't go to an

AA meeting and listen to an hour of BS in hopes that I will find one

or two small trinkets of knowledge. There are more efficient ways to

find knowledge and I don't feel like doing all that sifting.

Ciao

First, you don't even know what additional laws I favor.

Now, there's a naive dreamer... one who believes the reestablishment of the

Russian Orthodox Church as a state church will solve have that country's

woes.

I've never " openly supported big business " in the first place, so I've never

been anybody's pawn. And if you think " better laws " would only be better for

big biz then you're far more cynical than I.
