I had my brother bring his beard trimmer and my sister shaved it all off. I was more upset over having just a little cut than this. I feel so empowered!!!! I'm wearing a cute denim baseball hat. My brother wants me to put on a wig. NO WAY!!!! Just because his hair is almost to his ass doesn't mean mine has to be. Mom's going to be shocked when she gets home, but it's something that had to be done. I feel good about it. Even likes it. She smiles when she sees my bald head. She told me that she likes things that are different. This is a GOOD THING!!!! My son in law works for IBM doing programs for businesses all over the world. They have a website and it is so cute. About their travels in their boat, Dock Holliday. I'm not anti-wig for any lady who wants one to please herself, but the family will have to get used to your bare scalp (sometimes gently <G>). I never felt the need for a wig, and my family were great about it - one daughter clipped my hair off when I asked her to, and the other took photos after asking if I minded. And my husband said my ears didn't stick out as much as I had thought (ROFL) but they reminded him of Mr Spock! Do what feels right to you - you need to feel good about yourself right now.
